De BBC is ‘wereldberoemd’ met de jaarlijkse verkiezing Wildlife Photograper of the Year. De nieuwe versie is in aantocht: hier – in het Engels – de gegevens over de komende competitie.
The annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition searches for the best and most creative visions of nature. This year the competition received more than 43,000 entries from 94 countries. Nearly 100 winning and commended images have been selected by the judges and will be displayed on our website from 22 October and in a stunning exhibition at the Natural History Museum, London from 23 October.

A sneak preview of a selection of the commended images from the 2009 competition will be featured in the October issue of BBC Wildlife Magazine ( http://nhm.pmailuk.com/bnmailweb/ct?d=AmsF_QGhAAEAAAc1AAAy5w ) (on sale 28 September).
Following the opening of the exhibition all of the winning pictures will also be published in a hardback portfolio book, available in the following languages – English, Finnish, French, German, Greek and Spanish.
